Okay so my boat has been put away for a few weeks now and this weekend is really nice. Who's got fall boating pics to rub it in?

We went out yesterday for a cruise and then parked in our favorite spot right outside the yacht club. It was 80 degrees and the water temp was 74 so we were still able to swim.

The lake is down 8' so we backed up to a newly formed peninsula.

Daughter and her friend. They sure grow up quick. I remember when my daughter could stand up on the v-berth and not touch her head.

Someone's getting tired and ready for a "baba" and a nap. Time to head back to the slip.

It turns out that a friend of mine invited us out on his sail boat, The weather is unbelievable for our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Here are a few pics from Lake Ontario.

acguy (Mike) Simcoe was spectacular all weekend. More like August than October. She was flat as can be as well. We got out to Thorah and went for a dip. The water was 64F and chilly but I didn't mind a bit for so late in the year.

I'll try and figure out the picture posting thing.

You are killing me, I actually thought about driving up to the lake yesterday, glad my buddy called because it would hurt more getting up there knowing my boat is sleeping for the winter.
I was happy to get out on the lake and gained a new appreciation for sailing.

The boats at Starport in the covered slips are starting to be pulled Tuesday.

That's a beautiful sunset photo. You can feel the calm and relaxation 8) :) , also the bitterness of the end of another season  . Now gotta wait, oh, 6-7 months until next boating season.

Our colors aren't very good this year plus we were a little early, but with record temps in the 80's it was a beautiful last day out before winterizing.

Not the best pictures, but I figured I'd share.

WOW. What a weekend.

Saturday we put the boat in Lake Macatawa (Holland, MI) and headed out to the "big" lake. Amazing conditions. We headed down to Saugatuck.

The colors weren't that strong yet. It sort seems like the colors are stronger inland from Lake Michigan.

Some pics:
