I have seen it rain less for a named Tropical Storm down in Miami it was crazy! I was actually dodging the rain since I had the boat in front of the house changing all the hoses and it was a very bad weekend to even think of bringing her home. I was thinking of dropping her in at matheson hammock and zipping to the Columbus Day regatta at Elliott Key but when I saw the weather back and forth with some pretty hectic rain I yanked the hoses and the throttle body and the alternator and put the tarp on her right before a cluster came through. It was mission accomplished as far as I was concerned I had the batteries on trickle and had some preventative maintenance items I wanted to replace off the engine, I also pulled the impellor and it was really easy to do. They are saying 30 percent chance of thunderstorms for friday and saturday not sure what the wind looks like but I really want to take her out this weekend. BTW did you hear of that man that jumped off the 65 foot yacht at the boat regatta at elliott key and was killed by the propellers? How sad my friends were there in a 36 Intrepid and they say that the man was probably really drunk and just jumped off when the yacht was moving. Not sure if that is the story they are going to release but that is what I have been told by a couple of boater friends that were there.
Here is the link on that story
