Seen few days ago a short report on the boatng channel on TV: it's Brazilian, Lancer yachts 277, side windows and windshield look like Italian or French design, i don't like that design for a windshild it's a little heavy or...... :? "baroque" IMHO

I like the anchor set up - assuming it's got enough grab for that size boat? Most of the rest is looking odd. What's up with the sliding glass door just above the water line?

Sliding glass door......

It's a port lite for the mid cabin, and it does not slide.

right cap'n!...how it has become "sliding" i do not understand    , since beginning i thougth it was a sealed lite.
Anyway: it's in a bad position for port side docking operations, even putting a fender on the upper cleat... :?

I pulled up some specs: http://www.poweryachtblog.com/2011/11/n ... r-277.html

What I noticed was the wight 2300kg = 5,069lbs My boat is a 26' and is 6400lbs. I just hope it is stronger, given it light wight.

The port lite's are on port and starboard side in the same location. Oh.... and neither one slides

I think the window in the mid berth would be great. The boat Looks to be 23ft. of boat & 4ft. of swim platform and curved stern. I wonder how much headroom in the salon and how wide the mid berth is. If you cannot sleep in comfort why have it. Dan

and inside you cannot stand: it's only 1,75 m high in the highest part of the cabin.... Are brazilians shorter than others? :?

Great idea and I bet the kids would have a blast riding down in the mid-cabin when under way. That is one feature that I always liked about the new V305. The inside of the typical cruiser cabin is like being in submarine (or worse, a blow boat) and these new window designs would really open things up.
