This should be a good time.
This is the dealer where I bought my current boat.
Since I bought, they dropped my line and picked up Four Winns.

I intend to go – any one else?

Before I even get my '07 in the water, they're showing the '08s. Nice.

And I just got my '06! It was a "leftover" but still new!

I was invited but couldn't make it. Some friends did and I asked them to take some pics. I haven't heard yet. If they did, I'll definitely post them

Wow, that's one big-ass swim platform! I'm guessing it's on hydraulic lifts? Trouble is it doesn't look deep enough on it's own for flat-mounting a dinghy. While I'm sure you can mount the dinghy so that it hangs out over the aft end of the platform, it's sometimes preferred to have it all within the LOA of the boat. But then again it's basically the same way SeaRay does it these days too.

The transom locker looks like it's got plenty of room to stow an outboard. And the grill is a nice feature.

Tough to tell from those pictures but it seems to come up short on cockpit seating. And there's still no decent way to board it from the sides.

The TV isn't at a neck-aching height, that's better. But how long before someone trying to scoot into the seating bumps their back against it and breaks it? One step forward, two steps back?

Shame the forward berth doesn't have side access. It's nice to be able to get in and out of bed from sides. That and not have to use oddball sized bed linens. Nice to have twin beds in the mid cabin, presumably there's an insert to make it a double?

A pair of E-120 display, that's nice but it's shame that doesn't cut down on the other clutter on that helm. That and Raymarine's idea of data box sizing doesn't maximize what you can actually get on-screen. And if your chartplotter goes out you also lose all your critical engine monitoring gauges.

But a more important question is whether the existing dealer network is going to be capable of providing the level of support owners of this size boat are going to demand. Don't get me started on dealer performance here on the Chesapeake...

The 458 looks incredible. It looks like a quantum leap into a whole new customer demographic for FW?

I agree with wkearney99; for a company that sells such a wide range of products you have to wonder how well versed the dealers will be. Almost no dealer will stock one of these let alone sell more than one or two a year, I would think.

Is the 458 what prompted FW to expand their Cadillac facility?

From What I understand, Only certain dealers will get a 458 this year and they will only get one. The 458 has to be sold before the dealer will get the boat. I was hoping for a tour but that does not look like it will happen : (

That boat is HOT! That is the first deck boat style (if you would call it a deck baot) that I like. Wow. Wonder what the price will be like?
