I have boated in the winter before, do you know how hard it is to pull boat up launch ramp with snow on it??? For now, I am done with the cold boating. Water needs to be 70 plus degs, preferably 80..... Ready for summer already!! |

For comparison ric, here's what it looked like 1500 miles north of you last night. As you can see, your burger would have froze to the bbq, and there wasn't a boat on the lake.... even though the water was dead calm! http://www.theweathernetwork.com/your_weather/details/620/5455423/north%20bay%20ontario/upload/0/786?ref=ugc_yourweather_search |

Ah, I remember those days. I used to live in Bangor, Maine. Studded snow tires, sand in the trunk, and still get stuck! |

Off course winter boating is great. I will spend Saturday night on Biscayne Bay. The temp is going down to 62 degrees. I might need to bring a sweatshirt. |

To eck with boating in winter...I'm hoping to boat in spring with last years drought from hell...looking up. We had 6 inches of rain in couple hours last week. Made up for a little lost ground at the lakes. |
