Anyone going? I may be there on Saturday.

Here is a little news from Chap and Pier 33....

Quote:
Pier 33 Marina of St. Joseph, MI is unveiling two of Chaparral's newest designs during the 2012 Grand Rapids Boat Show. The Chaparral 18 & 19 H2Os will be offered in both a Sport and a Ski & Fish version, allowing boaters the opportunity to choose the package that best suits their plans for fun on the water. Pier 33 will unveil the H20 19 Sport, featuring a stunning graphics package and wakeboard tower, as well as the 18 Ski & Fish with trolling motor, convertible pedestal fishing seats and more, during the boat show. The 18 Sport starts at just $21,885, with trailer. The 19 Sport starts at $23,995. The launch of the H20 Series continues Chaparral's award-winning string of new product introductions. In the last five years, the company has introduced 30 new boats.

Neat, affordable little boats.

A few of the boats our local Four Winns dealer will have at the show are.

New 2012 H210, H230 and H240 and a 242SL.

They will also have the new Rinker 196 and 200MTX.

Just had to post this lovely picture of the Rinker 196's. Where are boaters like these when I'm on the water

I'd like a closer look of that sterndrive boat's sunpad and a closer look of the outboard boat's passenger captains seat. Just to check out the quality of stitching they use on the fabric of course. :D

Mike.

I'll have to see if we're on that side of the state. Kids winter break is that next week and we were thinking of heading over that way, having the show may tip it in that favor.

Hey Cap'n,
MaryAnn and I might go on Saturday. If we do, will you tell me what kind of boat you bought? Dan

Spring is already here, we haven't gotten any real winter yet.

Why didn't I just leave the boat in the water?

The “queen of the show” will be a 42-foot Regal Sport Coupe worth more than $500,000

S2, will also have a new 3100 Coronet at the Skipper Bud's display.

Looks like Saturday afternoon for me (busiest time of all  ) but I'll try and take a few pics of the bowrider offerings
for 2012 at the show.
And maybe mix in a cruiser or two.

There is no S2 I don't like. That 3100 looks awesome for the well healed day boater.

I'm not sure I'll be able to make it to the show. It would be the first time in the past several years I won't be able to go on a week night.

Pier 33 has kept a blog going about the show. An excerpt from today.

Quote:
Pier 33 began moving boats to the show on Friday, just as winter returned. Our crew took eight boats up to Grand Rapids on Friday and then rolled-out of St. Joseph with two more boats early Saturday. Then we caravanned out again before dawn on Sunday, so that we could be first in the door for move-in. We’ve transported thirteen boats now to Grand Rapids for the show – Pier 33’s largest display at the show in nearly a decade.

The 13 boats are....
Pursuit: C 180 (Michigan debut), 265 Dual Console, 280 Sport, 230 Center Console.
Scout: 245 XSF, 177 Dorado, both models being shown in Grand Rapids for the very first time.
Chaparral: 264 Sunesta, 246 SSi, 224 Sunesta, 225 SSi Cuddy (debut!), 216 SSi, 19 H2O Sport (debut!), 18 H2O Ski & Fish (debut!).

Some of the set up in process.

So who's gone already?

I am very intriqued by some of the boat makes listed on the vender list.

Did these dealers have actual boats on display?
