:D Finally got the boat of my dreams. We took her out on Lake Michigan for the first time Memorial weekend. Now the hard part. Choosing a name, especially since another Vista in the area already has the name I wanted, thanks to Vista - Al. Mine is green also but with the wide stripe. Say hi if you see us drive by. We saw Migration in the marina when we got our first tank of gas. Still learning how to manuver in the tight confines of a marina. I'm looking forward to a great summer on the new boat.

Sorry All Wet about the name.

We've had the name Migration since our last boat.

I'll be sure to hail you if I see an all green 378 in the area.

I think he did, at least I think he meant he saw my boat.

But we might have not been at the boat at the time. We were doing a lot of things that weekend.

Vista - Al we saw your boat but no one was on it. Also went to your website, nice picutures. I have to figure out how to post pictures here. Anyone that can clue me in? We are considering the name "Caribbean Soul". We are also Buffett fans. I know there are probably other boats with the same name but at least they aren't in the immediate area. :D We had quite a ride Saturday. Went down to Holland from Grand Haven and back. It was a bit rough on the way back.

By the way I am a "she" not a "he". My husband loves to boat also but it has been my dream forever. He had never boated until he hooked up with me. I had a 17 foot Chris Craft for many years. My kids grew up on a lake down in Texas and learned to ski behind that boat. My son still loves the water, he is a Coastie! He did some time breaking up ice on the Great Lakes aboard the Biscayne Bay. Now he is a flight mechanic aboard a Coast Guard Helicopter in Atlantic City. He just had another rescue on Saturday. Brought up 3 guys clinging to the bottom of their sinking boat in the Atlantic Ocean. His advice: Never paint the bottom of your boat BLUE!

Welcome, all wet. You will love your boat on the Big Lake. Hope to see you on the water this summer, if you're ever in Muskegon, stop and say Hi.

when you copy the pic, just do it from the filmstrip view and copy image location....

another helpful hint is once you paste the image in the body of the message, just highlight the location and click on the "Img" button...it will place the needed text to post the pic....

Nice. You know, I did not used to like green - in fact, I used to think it was the worst color.

But since we bought our boat used, we didn't have much of a choice, and it was a green trim boat. And you know, I have really come to like green - almost to the point that it is now my favorite boat color.

It waxes up soooo nice.

Yeah, my first choice would have been blue but I wasn't going to pay $25,000 more for a blue boat the same as this one. Again just remember what my son the coastie said: never paint the bottom of a boat blue! I guess they had one heck of a time finding those guys in the ocean!
