We didn't even make it to March. This is the marina we use.

Unbelieveable! I've been following the news and glad I'm on the West Coast. I've seen tornados (like you) up close and have had them rip out homes in my families housing tract. So sorry to see the damage to your marina. Glad you're boat is safe and hopefully they'll get restored by summer.

This marina is in a medium-sized cove. At the far end of the cove is a tall dry stack building. They're saying it was completely undamaged. Tornadoes are just bazaar. For anyone familiar with the Branson area, the 76 strip is damaged terribly. From the photos I can't see a single hotel that still has a roof, nor any business without at least some damage. I can see several places where we have memories of taking our kids, which are destroyed, or close to it.

Scotch, you're living right! I'd love to live where 82 is hot and 78 is cold. I took my boys out to San Diego for a week last summer, my first trip to SoCal. It was very hard to come back to 105 with 80% humidity.

I heard the theaters were unharmed in one new report. I'm sure they willl rebuild wholesome vegas lite quickly. We loved runing to Branson when I lived in STL. Hard town to find a beer, but always some good entertainment and incredible motorcycle roads in the area.

That's not accurate. At least 5 theaters took heavy damage.

I like to call it Hicks on Ice. But, it's one of the greatest boating locales anywhere. Branson, though the butt of many jokes, is a great place to take a family.

I have a place in Hollister (6 miles south of 76 Hoghway) we had no damage......The damage is only up at the 76 strip. The Lake is at 915' (normal pool) and ready for the summer.....if you need a place on the lake stay at Big Cedar Lodge on the East end of the lake. This is the best lake in the Midwest (Imho). Wnenn

Hey Waynen, any idea how Ozark Mountain Resort is (south side of Kimberling City)? I was going to call but thought you might have seen it.

That is for sure. My family has a house boat & keep in Bull Shoals Lake boat dock. The marina is in a big cove. About 10 years ago a tornado hit the marina. There was 80' long finger pier right behind our boat & the whole thing was flipped upside down & a total loss. Our boat which was maybe 50' away had no damage. Didn't even lose any of the deck furniture. Crazy stuff.

I don't know about anything at Kimberling City......I know some damage occurred there....it got hit...that is where the Tornado started...some 102 boats missing.....or destroyed and some were on trailers. My advise is to call the resort you normally stay at.......If you get to the east end of the lake look for an older 2003 H280 28' twin engine Four Winns Horizon running a red bimini top. Its the only one I've ever seen on the Lake. Waynen
