What does everyone have roughly for engine hours on their boats?

I've got about 230 hours on my '04. Just saw an '03 we are looking at next weekend with 585 hours on the motors. I've seen some with under 200.

How about you?

890ish on my 2000 298. I am the original owner and most of the hours were put on the first 3 years when I was single and did a lot of boating. I probably only do 30 to 40 hours a year now that I have a family and gas is thru the roof.

I believe I'm about to roll 130 hours on my 2007. When I bought it in November 2009, it was a demo boat with only 10 or so hours on it.

You'll likely find a big variation in "boating hours" for cruiser style boats. The very low, hardy used may not be the better boat (all else being equal) than the higher hour used boat with excellent maintenance and care.

In our area were the boating season is approximately 6 months, the very general rule of thumb here is when looking at boats the average per year useage is based around 50 hours per year. Again just a general guideline which may vary considerably.

We just turned over 500 hours on our 2001 328 Vista. I wouldn't mind considering a boat that has in excess of 50 hours per year, because I would view where the boat came from and how it was maintained as being more important.

90 hrs on my 08 and that's with a drought year....or I would have around 120ish....I talked to a used boat broker here in TX about avg hours and his opinion that around 30 to 35 is avg use. From what I have seen that's a good avg estimate and fits most replies to this post....his theory was the cruisers run longer but typically fewer runs....at the time my boat had around 60 avg per year which he said was close to double and would be viewed as high hrs....basically he said good maintenance is first then low hrs next given all else equal.
