ok guys my friend has a jet boat and it wont cool. How exactly does a jet boat cool the motor?

If it's anything like a jet ski, the impeller housing has a inlet that forces water into the engine. there should also be a visible stream of water coming out of the outlet. Likely your friend has a clog.
