Now that I have a boat again, I have a new problem, Insurance....... Most company's won't do over 35 feet, or over a certain HP rating, or Speed. Does anyone know whom to call? |

You can also try Marine Underwriters, out of Louisville, KY. They have always been fair to me. A few of my friends have 38' and 42' go fast, I 'll ask them how they insure. It seems like every couple of years, I have the discussion with the admiral about selling the 328 and getting a go fast boat for a season or two. I still haven't talked her into it, but maybe someday. That should be a fun boat, nice find! |

As he said, Marine underwriters. Also, United Marine Underwriters and Charter Lakes Marine Insurance are good ones as well. |

Capt, you might be amazed but try calling your home owners insurance. My father in law has multiple boats over 30 ft and he has them on his home owners insurance, I have a 180 and I carry it on my home owners. its only $120 per YEAR ( not per month) ![]() |
