Yet another project I have been wanting to do for a few years. As I have mentioned before my bimini is really, really heavy. Hit a decent sized wave and man the thing rocks back and forth...to the point I do not like it.

So I built a support pole...rock solid now and hoping to test it out nexy weekend on the water.

















and my helper...he loves doing projects on the boat and loves to learn :thumb:

Great...let us know how it works....looks like next project deals with the flower beds:-)

I couldn't figure out the supports to mine and in Miami it's a necessity to have a bimini unless you want to die out in the sun so I paid this guy to get it done. All brand new heavy duty zippers resewn with four lines of thread and the boot was redone also for a C-Note installed I am happy.

I was actually planting some vegetables and then some grass seed where I have a few bare spots. Wow did this work well. Both in the closed and open position. Barely moves now. Also put my flags on this weekend as you can see here.

I love that bimini. Its huge!
