The marina on the St Johns River will do gated outside storage with unlimited in/out for $129/mo with refundable $180 deposit that includes keys. That includes use of all the facilities at the marina. Bathrooms, washrooms, laundry, showers, boat wash area, wifi, they are a sea tow base, and there's even a big restaurant/bar with a pool and it gets quite fun on the weekends with live music. They are open 8-5 7 days a week and need a 1 hour lead time to launch it. In an event they are closed either call the day before they are closed to launch it or if you come back when they are closed they have courtesy docks and will stow the boat when they open. Sound decent for an 18ft bowrider? I'm considering doing it for the summer, I'm bored of my lake and it's still pretty low. |

We are going to be doing that in a few weekends but ours sounds a little different. Ours will be rack stored and indoors. Call an hour ahead, they forklift/bull your boat into the water and it there waiting for you when you arrive. With three small kids, it is a no brainer for us. We will also have full use of the facilities which include a pool and such. Our cost is between $1,100 and $1,300 for the summer. Nice thing is, you get a discount for winter storage as they just leave your boat in the same rack. Fully heated. |

They have indoor, wet slips and covered wet slips, but that is the cheapest option. http://www.boattreemarina.com/storage.asp |

I wish I could have those prices and amenities in Miami! |

That is a great price and that marina has more amenities than the yacht club we belong to. How far is it from your home and how many members do they have because the newsletter shows a bunch joining each month? Nice place. |

Sounds like a no-brainer to me....Why not give it a whirl? If it sucks, you're only out $129 for a month. |

I pay 85 and only water around is ozarka.....if I had that option I would be in....I would save the money in fuel hauling to/from lake. Nothing like motoring up to dock and eat. |

In and out is the only way to go. I love it. Spring for the extra few $ to get inside storage. Much cleaner boat, no sun fade, etc. |

Ric thats a good price. I keep my vista in an indoor rack at Harbor Town on Merritt Island and pay 230. Its well worth it. Lots of places to trailer around FL but in my opinion it gets old. |
