Well...today we started as an in/out client at Great Lakes Marina on Muskegon Lake. We are more than happy. Customer service is top notch from what we can see so far and man it is nice to not have to trailer, launch and retrieve and trailer back. We get the use of all marina facilities which includes a pool and a lot of other amenities. We are very happy...      They scrub the boat after each use...awesome

You'll find you use your boat a LOT more without having to trailer it. I bet you lose the cover in the next 3 trips... Unless your building is REALLY dusty, or you have a nasty drippy boat above you, you wont need it. Care to share what your $ is for their service? I'm $1,295 at Barretts for my 260. I LOVE that they clean you each time. We don't get that. |

Dave...I am waaaaayyyyy too anal for me to not put the covers on. Plus, there is always a dock hand or yard guy each time we come in and they help snap the covers on. I am on the top rack and will still always keep them on. Cost is $1,300 for the summer up to a 26' and then $600 for the winter. Yes, so far we love it and can't see going back to trailering. |

I put the cockpit cover on every time, it takes just a few minutes it do it. I put a full cover on for the winter, the birds seem to like nesting in the rafters of the building. |

I went from trailing, to mooring and to a slip. Nothing like having a slip!! With a slip, nothing like a bigger boat & overnighting on it. |

Been there, done that also for 8 years in a slip. Now back to trailer boating which we did for the previous 9 years prior to owning the cruisers. While being in a slip was nice, there is also nothing like being able to go wherever you want whenever you want with a day boat being hitched up and ready to go anytime. And in/out service is also very convenient for spur of the moment boat rides, and being able to use some of the amenities in the marina. WD, glad the in/out is working so well for you. I know you are happy you made the decision. |

That price is great for the in/out, at least from what I have seen around Boston. Happy for you!! Myself starting with a 19' to 21' than 23' and now a 26' footer. We just keep finding more & more things to do. With a 26 footer, I can still trailer it. Being in Boston, we have gone to P-town, though the Cape Cod Canel to Hyannis, and as far north as Hamton Beach N.H. From the club, we go as a group of 3 to 10 boaters. Stopping at other clubs along the way. The joke now is "we have hot water!" to shower with. |
