The Admiral and I have aquired a new lot of land on Norris lake. It is going to be some time before we start building on it, but I was kinda wondering what kind of dock I should get? I want somthing that the kids can swim off of, and would like to have a second story on it, but most of all I would like to have a place for 2 boats and a lift later on(for my boat). I know it needs to be a free floating dock that is anchored on land and with a "deadman" in the water. Do you guys know of any one who builds these for a resonable price or a good place where I could get started looking for one? |

Congrats on the land. Where is it located on Norris? Would your dock be useable year round or would it be unuseable when they drop the water level? |

It has year round water so it could be user all year. Twin cove marina would be our "home marina". |

The #1 thing a good dock needs... is water tight storage. Once you got the storage locked down filled with water toys, a tool kit, and random whatever else you might need then all the other good stuff must come in line. Stereo system, BBQ, fridge, hot tub. If you face the west, roof seating is a must to watch sunsets. |
