I was just sitting at the yacht club office enjoying the day and shooting the breeze. Some guy pulls up with what appeared to be a brand new sea doo on a brand new trailer. He advises the owner that he'll be putting in here and he wanted to buy gas. He then asked the owner if he could borrow some rope. Here's where it gets dumb, then he asks if he could borrow a life jacket

I was wondering when he'd ask to borrow an operators card (required in Ontario) but I bet he doesn't know that. His father was helping him launch it and neither of them had a clue. On the side of the machine there were "SUPERCHARGED" emblems!

I then decided to open the bar and stay safe in my slip for the day

Wow.....I stayed up later than I should watching launch ramp episodes on YouTube.....I can't get over the amount of dingle berries that just head off to the lake with no knowledge of anything at all!!!! I have not even accomplished my first launch and I am more worried about other people right now than myself!

yep. Holiday boaters will be out in full force Wednesday..as well as the two Sheriff's boats, the Green Bay City Police boat, and the Coast Gaurd!!

Usually I don't venture out on the 4th, if I do I leave early and come back early!
