SO I know nothing about boat's so I figured when the time and price were correct I would get one. I bought a 1989 four winns cobra with a 3.0... for 300 bucks with an ez lodar trailer. The motor works awesome but when I put it into drive water comes out of the motor. The best I can figure is that water is being forced into the motor through the drive shaft from the outboard. I took the inboard motor off of the mounts and separated it from the outboard and I didn't see anything wrong there. The best I can figure is that it is being forced in from somewhere outside..... but where.... help

Hi Rob - when you say that water is coming out of the engine, can you be more specific? Can you tell where it is coming out from?

Maybe post some pictures of your setup - that may help folks on here to figure out what advice to give you.
