Had a nice day with family on Grapevine on Sunday. been almost a year off the water - glad I am crazy about preventive maintenance. other than replacing the 6 year old starter battery, started right up and ran pretty good for old gas. Sta-bill is my/your friend. The cd player did give up the ghost -- so time for a new stereo!!??

A year....WAY TO LONG!

I do use Team Autosound on Business 121 in Lewisville for all my stereo gear....good luck!

Welcome back!! I'm sure it wasn't easy being away from it for so long, but I bet you appreciate it all that much more now that you're back on the water! :D

Welcome back!,
I hope you checked all the stereo connections for corrosion, and the fuses. You don't want to have to replace a perfectly functional stereo for a new one only to find out the stereo was the problem. Isopropol and a q-tip can go a long way on buildup on the components, but 6-years might be a good excuse to buy a new tune machine for old reliable. The Admiral always follows my lead when we have a questionable component on the boat even when she suspects I might just want to upgrade....gotta love the Admiral
