I've been in Chicago for work a few times (never got out of hotel), but we are headed up this weekend for a quick getaway. I have all of Sat (except night) open, and looking do something water/boating related. For those familiar with the area, is there anything Lake Michigan related that I shouldn't pass up? Just looking to fill my day. Thanks in advance.

Navy Pier is a good start to see the normal tourist fair. Otherwise an walk along the Museum Campus or the Chicago Riverwalk is very nice.

If you have Yacht Club reciprocity, I would make it up to Montrose Harbor and stop at the Corinthian Yacht Club.

You just missed Taste of Chicago and the Airshow / Lollapalooza are still a few weeks away. This time of year the lakefront is hopping.

Enjoy!
