Perhaps a Garmin GPSMAP 431s for Inland lakes:
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=28752
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=148&ra=true
or Garmin GPSMAP 441s for Coastal Navigation
