I am going to install a VHF radio and antenna in my 268 over the winter. Plan on doing a flush mount in the woodgrain dash panel. Any ideas or pictures of what anyone else has?? Thanks in advance, Keith.

Have you picked a radio yet? If not, might I suggest the new Lowrance LVR-880. It's the first that is NMEA2000 compliant. I haven't tested or used the unit but all my lowrance products over the years and currently work well. Just a thought since NMEA0183 is soon to be a thing of the past.

I have decided on the Icom M422 submersible DSC VHF. I can just fit it in the dash to the left of the steering column. I probably won't finish the install until spring, so pictures may take a while. Stay tuned, Keith.

Not my boat, and not the best flush mount installation, but here is one.
