My 99 V258 has the Garmin Map162 or something like that. I dont really care for its lack of detail on the lake or its slow cursor movement. The other day I was in my local marine store and was mesmerized by the GPS/Chartplotter display. I was really leaning towards a Lowrance Chartplotter Globalmap 3600C. It was a really nice unit with color display and chartography, lake hazards, etc etc.
Before I go dropping 400 green ones on this unit, does anybody have any recommendations?
