Never leave the marina without the GPS up and running. Like a few others have said, it's especially useful at night. I also use it to check my speed vs. RPM to make sure the numbers stay consistent everytime we go out. And lastly, I always use it when anchoring...I cross check the depth contours against my depth finder just to make sure everything looks good before setting the hook for the night. Oh yeah, and the anchor alarm helps me sleep better when we spend the night on the hook.
