Hey folks,

I have a chance to pick up a used fishfinder/gps and I wanted to hear your thoughts on this unit. It is a Lowrance LMS 330C. I'm not certified to operate this thing yet but I do have the manual and a great chance to take this unit with me on vacation to shake it down. I really just want simple GPS charting ability and a color fishfinder, which this unit has both. This seems to be a nice upgrade from the basic hummingbird that I currently have. What do you guys think?

I had a DSI model, I could not get the detail out of it! There support desk was no help.

I sold it on this fourm and bought a Garmin. It works!

I've got the 522ci and love it. Lot's of room for expansion and fits on my dash perfect. Manual is pretty easy to understand and the unit is pretty straight forward.

I also have the DSI model. Good definition of bottom, but agree you don't get the photo like images like the ads show you will.
