4-in-1 gauge on my 2004 Horizon 230 stopped working today. Can't see any loose connections. Any ideas on what to look at? The having no gas gauge is a pain.

In my case, both of my 4-in-1 gauges had defective armatures (coils). I removed them and shipped to Faria after calling for a return authorization repair tracking number. They came back within 2 weeks fully functional with original face plates, but ALL new gauges (all 4). Cost was $52 per gauge. Faria: 1-800-473-2742. Obviously, ensure it is a gauge problem, verses a wiring or sensor unit before removing the gauge. I swapped my port / starboard wires to ensure the gauge was the issue. One had a VDC gauge down scale and the other had a failed high temperature gauge. They both failed the 6th year of service (2007 boat, 2012 failures about 2 months apart). I made it a winter project before the 2013 season.

What a timely post. I'm trouble shooting my starboard fuel gauge. It'll act fine one minute and show empty the next.
