Anyone know where I can get a 1.5 volt LED "fuse bulb"?

The one I have for my continuity tester is an incandescent bulb which looks exactly like the little glass fuses that are approx. 1" long. I would like to replace it with an LED type but can't find anything with that low of a voltage rating.

You are going to need an LED thats wired with a resister in order to make it 12 volt ready. What you've found so far sounds like a raw LED, which would pop with any more then 1.5V without that resister.

The minimum voltage to make the lowest power LED work is around 1.8v. For a continuity tester like what you have incandescent is the best thing for it, it can visually detect even the lowest voltages where an LED wouldn't, it will start to glow even in the sub 1v range.

I think this might be a spammer.

That exact question was asked and answered on another forum 2 days ago (by a different user name). And by exact, I mean word for word, letter for letter!
