Came home on Thusday with a new F-150 FX4 with a 3.73 rear end. Impressed, very much so. It starts like a 6 banger, BUT driving, power like my 5.4L that I had. It does NOT rev up like one would think from a 3.5L engine. Its smooth and power from a standing stop. The RPMs are kept down & it goes. I have not towed with it yet, so we will see. |

If my memory is right 9,600lbs. With the extended cab & the 3.73 rear end. |

Right now the gas milage is low. 16mpg, the same as my old truck with the 5.4L engine. It only has 300 miles on it so I am hoping that it will go up. It climbed up to 16.5!!! Maybe in a month it will hit 17 |

I get better mileage with my 2011 F250 Diesel.... Can't go wrong with a diesel for towing.. My friend with a 2011 f250 just pulled a trailer from texas to louisiana with 29k trailer... he said it pulled no problemo... |
