I have a H240 and believe I had a rain storm and water got in behind the dash and fried my stereo and did something to my tach. I took it to the local Fourwinns dealer and they couldn't figure it out. They replaced my tach with as the digital hour meter on it and that didn't work. They call VOLVO in and they wanted to check my ECM which was sent back to the factory and that was fine. The dealer doesn't know what else to do any suggestions? All connections are fine from what the dealer is telling me??

Did you replace your stereo? And did it work when you hooked the new one up? What did the water do to your tach? Not work at all, jumpy, readings way off? How do you know it was water that did this?

Sorry for all the questions, but I had a simliar thing happen to me, and I was able to tell it was water intrusion when I poured about a cup of it out of my stereo...
