Xantrex HF 1000 Inverter/Charger! Features a 1000w inverter with 2000w peak. Here's what makes it a win in my book: It has a built in automatic transfer switch. Connect your shorepower input to the unit, and when it detects power it shuts down the inverter, transfers it to shore power smoothly, and charges the batteries automatically. I was planning on this whole big install with transfer switches, etc etc.. and now? One product does it all. I just need a shore power connecter installed on my boat, wire it to a breaker then to the inverter, inverter to another breaker and to the AC and one electrical plug in the cabin. Done! If I want to charge? Hook EU2000 or Shore power to boat and it starts charging automatically and powers my boat/AC. Woohoo! Ordering this bitch tonight. |
