Dong........ LOL. Bare minimum should prevent any safety issues or fires. Sure a person can over engineer.... Yes that is a bad habit of mine and that's not a bad thing but u have to remember that unless it's a custom unit I'm guessing most manufacturers meet code and dont exceed it too far.
FW doesn't use weatherpack connectors, tinned wire, bus bars, or resettable breakers. They just daisy chain crap wiring with crimp connectors and blade fuses that corrodes to hell within 10 years causing all sorts of electrical issues. I think even Bayliner has better wiring.
I say FW doesn't use that stuff, because my 2003 Chaparral does (as they all do). They use an automotive style harness and are fully wired for all accessories (ordered or not).
