Would anyone be able to recommend the specs of LED's suitable for installation throughout the interior of my H200. Connectors and switch suggestions would be great too. Would just do under dash and in side storage pockets I think so 4 strips likely. I know a number of you have done this and could save me from ordering inferior product. Any recommendations on suppliers would be good too - looking on eBay currently and there's just tons to choose from... Thanks for any info. |

I used these for the side pocket storage area. 3 years on, still going strong. http://www.autozone.com/lighting-led-and-neon/led-lighting/alpena-flexled-light/60049_0_0/ |

Don't know of any LED lighting made in the U.S. All of it is from China. Just make sure there waterproof. At least IP65rated. They will come either in strip or rope. Depending on what type of surface they are getting mounted on will depend weather you need brackets/clips. Wire them hot and control them with a key fob. Just installed Wireless Remote Controller RF Dimmer for 5050/3528 Single Color LED Strip Lights |

I replaced the 4 courtesy lights with these from Whelen Engineering in Ct. They're made in America, have a 5-Year warranty and are very bright. I work for an emergency vehicle up-fitter and we use these on Police, Fire, EMS, public works vehicles, transit busses, etc. so they're plenty rugged. Coincidentally, they matched the mounting screw hole pattern of my 18 year old OEM lights... http://www.whelen.com/pb/Automotive/ProductSheets/Lightheads/3inch_Round_Super-LED_Lighthead.pdf OFF: ![]() RED: ![]() ![]() ![]() WHITE: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have bought cheap LED sets and expensive LED sets for different projects. I have not noticed much in quality differences between them. Just make sure you get waterproof or sealed lights and you should be fine. Thalasso wrote: Don't know of any LED lighting made in the U.S. All of it is from China. Just make sure there waterproof. I use one for my drain plug lights and love it. |
