I just put 2 new batteries in my 98 245 vista . I wanted to see how long the deep cycle battery would last with every thing on so i set the Perko switch to the # 2 battery . Ran every thing for 6 hours, I would keep checking to see if it would still start every hour , which it did . thinking that it shouldnt last that long i flipped the switch to the number 1 and tryied to start but battery was dead . put the switch back to 2 and pulled the cable off and had no power to the panel , so switch is correct, but some how pulled power from starting battery . # 1 battery is a 24 series and #2 is a 29 series. is the switch bad or should i check something else ? last year i only had 1 battery but boat was set up for 2
