| Post subject: | Speedo and Depth Finder |
I have the famous VDO cluster to start off with. I have a 2001 Horizon 200 with a bravo 1. When I bought the boat I all the gauges work find but the speedo and depth finder built into the dash. I do not have any transducer or paddle wheel. I bought the boat used and trying to figure this thing out because I wakeboard alot with this boat. I have a black rubber tube that connects too my outdrive that runs too about my steering wheel where it was found to be tied up with a bolt in it. I was told to make sure i am getting water there and connect it to the back of my gauges. I ripped my cluster apart and found white back cover with no where to connect the black tube too. People are saying there should be something there. Do I need to remove the back plastic cover ? I believe its just a circuit board back there. I have had two techs look at this boat and they can not even figure it out. Looking for someone to tell me if I am missing something. |
