The GFI in my cockpit is not getting any power and I am trying to troubleshoot the problem. What I am trying to figure out is if the outlet was added by a previous owner or if it was factory installed. If factory installed, I was hoping someone would know what circuit is is on.

Anyone?

That GFCI should be the first one on that circuit.Usually there are a couple of outlets after it.
Is the switch in the panel on for the outlets?

Are you testing at the wires or the outlet?

GFIs can go bad... test for power at the wire if not already doing so.

Try turning the breaker on labeled "ice maker" in the panel. That will more than likely not be a factory receptacle, rather one added afterwards. All options n the 328 were "roughed in" from the factory.

Mike has this one 100% correct. At the end of the season when I first bought our boat I switched off the cockpit fridge breaker as well as the actual rotary switch inside the fridge which is a dual on/off switch and temperature combo. Days later when I returned to the boat to do some work and needed power I could not get it to work. Called in a technician, and for a hundred bucks found out what Mike notes above. Wish I asked the question

You were right. It was the ice maker circuit! Thanks
