I need to fish some wires from the helm to the power panel on an 01 298 vista. I got a Nema N2K cable and my XM lead going over the stairs into cabin above headliner about 3 feet short. Anybody do this? |

I may just go under thru the shower sump box I recently found instead of overhead like whoever did that installed the stereo system did. I just need to find out if I can easily get from the helm station to that shower sump box. |

Have you tried removing the two fluorescent light fixture housings? |

Luba. On my 248 in the midbirth the ceiling panel drops down with just a few screws. Remove the power panel under the steering wheel. U will be able to access the side of the boat from there. It’s an easy fish. I don’t know if you have the same closet space I do beside the bathroom. On my boat in the back of that closet there is a panel. Remove that panel and you should be able to get what you need after you push under the steps and thru the front sump. |
