Howdy - I just bought a 1996 Horizon 190. GREAT BOAT!! Except, the factory installed depth finder does not work at all. I located the transducer in the engine compartment, checked the wire connector and it seems OK. Is there an inline fuse or anything else I should check? I haven't been under the dash yet to see if the wire connections to the dash readout are intact - looks like that may be a bigger job!

The gauges on many early FW's have a history of problems. I would check the connections under the dash first, but it would not be unusual to have to replace the whole thing. Or, just by a cheap fishfinder, and use the depth gauge on that.
