So I have a toggle switch on it that has three prongs on it:

Positive to Battery
Ground
and
ACC

I have two LED lights that I ran wire from the led lights back to the toggle switch.
I actually got the LED lights red wires combine to a single red wire running up to the dash board. And two black wires combined to a single black wire running to the dash.

Here is my question, I have a 2004 FW 268 Vista, where do i connect the red wire coming from the led lights... on the fuse box or the toggle switch? I guess i don't understand how the fuse box works. I thought there was power running from the ACC on the fuse box?

I thought this would be an easy project... I have to underwater LED lights hooked up the the boat and with no power.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

Scott,

I have not wired a 3 prong switch before. Mine just had to prongs on it and served as a break in a connection to the remote wire on my amp.

Silly question but do you have a fuse in the panel for the accessory wire your connecting to? If u do do you have the 12V up at the wire?

My problem was that I didn't have the toggle switch grounded properly... I ran a wire back to to ground on the fuse box and everything worked as it should.
