Has anyone tryed these? It looks like you don't have to drill a hole under the waterline for the wire. I'm curious about the ease of installation of these lights in comparision to others. They seem like a decent price for this type and quality of light. http://www.doctorled.com/M501.htm ![]() |

Those look like really nice lights, and definitely a high quality alternative to some of the low quality surface mounts out there with plastic housings. I'm sure installation would be a snap with these too! What color are you thinking about getting? We installed a set of blue Lumitec seablaze3's, and are very happy with them. The blue light makes it look like a well lit swimming pool of of our swim platform! If you get these please post some pic's ![]() Here's a link to our install http://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=5180&st=0&sk=t&sd=a |

Ignition protected too - safe for engine rooms. Looks like they only have green available, and a bit pricey at $199. *edit - ok, that's just from the link above. Looks like West Marine carries them at $179 & Defender at $149, still pricey. |
