Hey all. Took out our "new to us" 238 Vista and discovered that the 12 volt outlet doesn't work. The boat got a new battery charger earlier this spring so that may be related but does anyone have any ideas? I did check the fuse under the dashboard and it appears to be fine.

Did you check the fuse/breaker. I would also use a meter and work my my back to the DC panel to find the problem. Look for any corrosion & fix/or replace it.

On my Horizon, I bought new and at the end of the first season I realized it was wired back-wards from the factory! Kept blowing fuses on the iPod, and nothing seemed to charge.... Anyway, just something to check!

Interesting....one of the two 12V outlets on mine does that also. I'll check that next time.

Thx!
