That makes total sense awesome tip. I only heard that noise twice since I am a new boater but jeez wth were they trying to do wake the dead! It's a very annoying sound and it goes off three times when I turn the key. Going to try that doorbell technique it sounds fairly easy to install and that would definitely keep the kids from getting disturbed while they are sleeping.
