I noticed on new 2010 FW boats comes with new style docking lights with domed clear lenses which is far cleaner look than previous model on my 08 H260… If there is an itch I have to scratch so I decided to change my old docking lights to these new ones.. As usual Ryan and Terry from Winnisquam marine helped me to get right parts (only took 2 weeks to order)

I originally thought the new docking lights are same size with old one. However, new one is slight smaller. Luckily, openings and holes are not on the way of the new lights and conversion was easy. The new lights come with rubber gasket so there is no need to use sealer to the body. The new light comes with exact same electrical connector to just plug in….

Nice post. Do the new ones us the same bulbs/wattage? Do they seem any brighter or have greater throw? Did you have to do any drilling or other fitting?

They use same bulb and same blightness but little greater throw due to reflector. It use 6 screws and I had to drill new holes but no interference with old holes.

Nice job. All these upgrades maybe you just should have bought a new boat!

Docking lights were one of the first mods I did to my boat and was very disappointed. I find that they are useless. I installed them where I could get access and maybe they aren't right. We'll have to compare this year (if I still have the boat).

Nice mod! I always hated the way my lights were just bug catchers on my 200ss. Made them hard to keep clean. Those look a lot nicer!

Your new docking lights look great!!! Terry from Winnisquam is the greatest I just had my bow cushions and decals for my H220SS delivered thanks to Terry and they look great. I wish everyone I dealt with in my life was a clone of Terry he is so easy to deal with and very informed on his products. I actually am steering toward exactly the same mod for my boat but I called Terry a couple of weeks ago and he told me the new lights were in the 200 dollar range so not sure if it's worth it for me since I don't go out at night at all but they look so much better than the original pair. It was $230.. It is not worth the price..... they look great... works ok... The light bulb is MR16 (12v 50W)
so if I can find bright enough LED replacement bulb I would modify it again...

Thanks for your used pair they are in excellent condition and they look great on my boat. If you ever want to buy another pair newer than the ones you just purchased drop me a PM and I will definitely be interested in taking them off your hands. Have you found a replacement for the bulb in LED? Thanks again brother
