New owner of a 98 Horizon 200 with stock bow and cockpit covers in pretty good shape, it also has a bimini top in good condition.

I downloaded the owners manual but its lacking quite a bit, can the cockpit covers AND bimini be kept on at the same time? It looks like some snap differences but can't wrap my small brain around how to make it work.

Photos or lots of small words appreciated :)

Bimini up or down (stored)? My cockpit cover snaps over the outside of the windshield frame and outside of gunwales with no "cutouts" for bimini poles. Long sentence short, I cannot put my cockpit cover on with bimini "up". I can put my cover on if my bimini is stowed (folded up and layed back across seats).

Of course my cover might be different due to it being on a Sundowner... :?:

I don't have any pictures but the bimini and cockpit covers can be used at the same time on my 98 225 Sundowner. There are cutouts in the cockpit cover that have snaps that snap to each other around the bimini poles.

On my H180 I could leave the bimini down and snap in the cockpit cover.

I'll take another look, waterproofing them today. I see them at the dock with covers on and bimini still up ( not open ) its not hard to take down but I think the Bimini will stay on quite a bit while we're on the lake and would rather leave it in place.

On my Sundowner the bimini stays up but not open to install the cockpit cover. There are velcro/snap cutouts that go around the poles but not any way to use the two straps that tighten the bimini when opened. My bimini uses two straps that have snap hooks that attach to the windshield frame when opened.

My cover has cutouts and my Bimini has never been taken down...if you have no cutouts you canmake them easily with scissors, some reinforcement strapping and sewing machine....or mark and take to upholstery shop.
