My wife got me a flag of my favorite college team (WSU Cougars) -- to go on the boat. We did not get the flag pole option from Four Winns with our H240. I have been looking for something simple to use and came across this. ![]() Product is available from Boatersworld... has anyone ever tried this? Price is right for 20 bucks and it uses your stern light mount. I could see this as an issue during super windy days... the electrical mount probably isn't the highest quality... but for your average day of cruising, wouldn't this work pretty well? Like you said, I'd wonder about the strength of the mount. Big difference between the force put on that by a stern light and a flag blowing in the wind. |

![]() It works fine at cruising speeds, but I would recommend that you stow it for full throttle runs! Gig 'EM ![]() |

I used to fly my flag from the stern light base. Didnt take long to break that socket. |

Buy a 2-foot teak flag pole and a stainless steel mount. I will save your stern light and look about 10 times better. |
