Hello!

I am considering installing a Mermaid Marine M9 A/C unit in my 268 Vista. I would like to use a Honda EU2000i, mounted in the engine compartment, for power but I'm not sure how to rig the exhaust. Has anyone here attempted this? If so, any tricks, tips or advice?

Only put the Honda in the engine space if you are dertmined to blow up! It's total unsafe to even store the unit in the engine space for transportation.

Your idea will work and the EU2000i will run the A/C. Because the Honda is vented and a non-marine exhaust it needs to stay out in the open. The swimplatform is the best place. I've also run the one I had on the fore deck at times.

For storage underway I've stored it in the cockpit.
