I was just curious if anyone had any experiences with this company or similar? I know FW has a factory pad, but I thought this might offer an easy way to customize our boat's look. Plus I think the pricing is similar to the factory pad???

Any thoughts are appreciated!

As interesting as it looks, it appears that they have not done or supported a Four Winns boat. The product is interesting and some of the members here may be interested but for the most part those of us with the bare factory platform choose to live with them.

I've been thinking of these as well. They do have a template listed for the 200... maybe close enough to the 210.

I'm going to order the kit to make a template for my H210 just to be safe, you get the $15 back if you order a pad. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of it having a custom look, whether it's the FW logo, the boat name, or anything else. I think they would just assign a model number for any future orders for 2008 210's and they could be ordered without sending them the template again.

If it looks good, I'm thinking I may even get one for the non-skid under the hinged part of the sun deck.

I like the custom idea too. But, I'm going to go with a carpet one. Works the same way, but it's brown with a teak look. Cost is under $100, and it's snap on nylon pile. I think it'll look good, will help keep dirty shoes from messing up the boat, and won't get hot.

Pic's when you get it, please!

Was thinking of doing the same on my step-areas where the cusions snap down. I've actually got a piece of carpet and snaps getting worked to cover the non-skid at the bow and stbd stern seat when I have the cushions out. Should have them done for the next outing.

This place also has faux teak pads, check this out. Might be more expensive than the above.

I hope I'm allowed to link to vendor sites. Admin, if not, let me know and I'll remove it.

I'm going to get it here:
http://www.snapincarpet.com/products.cfm Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the teak pattern sample. Elsewhere on the site are photos of the teak carpet throughout the boat. Send them an email to get a quote. They respond quickly.

They said I have to make my own template, which is easy enough. And, he said the carpet should be under 100 bucks. Not bad!

I've looked into the faux teak, and it's nice. It still has the issue of getting hot, and it's more expensive. I think that for my F224 it would be over $1k. The carpet option should look nice, and it won't burn young butts like the gray pad, or possibly the faux teak may.

So you are going to apply the pad with the peel and stick adhesive backing, or add snaps like the FW mats?
From the Seadeck website.
Quote:
Made from closed-cell EVA foam that will not absorb water and is easily applied with our long lasting, easy to apply peel-and-stick adhesive.

If you are "sticking it" here is another source for a similar product FWIW.
Gator Grip

Seems the feedback on the Gator grip is, the dye (ink) doesn't cure out well and you end up tracking it across the sunpad.
