Make sure the surfaced underneath where you're going to install them is strong enough to spread the load. There's usually a backing panel or significantly beefed up fiberglass behind a cleat. You should not just drill two holes and bolt it into place without something to spread the stress. Otherwise someone at a later date might assume it's a properly install cleat but then become seriously injured when it gets yanked out under stress.
