i just bought a used 1992 four winns 220 horizon.. boat is in awesome condition.. i did notice that the steering wheel is broken almost in half.. the guy who owned it must have pulled on it pretty hard over a wake or something.. the one side is held by the covering.. i would like to replace it with the same color and kind if i can.. the center cap is good still.. its a light gray ish color.. if anyone knows where i can find an exact replacement i would be very thankful!!

David

OEM here: http://www.fourwinns.net/partbook/

Take the part # to dealer... However I would just buy something else off ebay if I were you.

I took off my OE wheel and put on a destroyer style wheel with a spinner knob, which is a lot more functional than the OE one was.

Any wheel with a 3/4 tapered hole (all boat wheels) or you can ebay an adapter and install any standard aftermarket steering wheel. I've been fancying a 60's style wood ford mustang style. Or you could go all out and get a new 2012 Horizon wheel.

Most newer boats don't use the 3/4" tapered shaft steering wheels but a hub system

The original steering wheel may well be attached to an adaptor already; they were on both my 1999 and 2004 boats. The centre of the 2004 one for sure is splined, not a taper/key. Both wheels were attached to the adapters with 6 countersunk allen bolts, in a standard PCD spacing I imagine. So, an aftermarket wheel could in my case have been fitted to the original adapters.

I did buy an aftermarket "Victor" leather covered wheel for my 2004 boat; it turned out to have a 5 hole setup, not a 6 hole ! it just required some holes redrilling in the wheel, the PCD was the same.
