How to make a refrigeration system? I'm in the process of building a 1:16 scale model of the Prudential Center the future home of the New Jersey Devils. I'm making it as realistic as possible with actual seats and all. I want to make a miniature refrigeration system on the base to get some real ice. Does anyone know how to do this what materials I need?

You need a high pressure pump, some gas (r134, r12, propane, whatever), two radiators, two fans, and a way to control the pressure so stuff doesn't explode. Compress the gas and pre-cool it with one radiator. Design the system so the gas expands, and in the act of expanding the gas cools rapidly. Pass that really cold expanded gas through another radiator with a fan in a insulated box. Brrrrrrr cold. Send that uncompressed gas back through the pump and the cycle starts all over again.

This is what you are looking for, I would think. http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?pat ... id=1770080

Check out there other systems. Depending on "your" size of the Pru, this one may work for you.

Good luck!

Only you two would fall for something so obvious. The poster was a Spammer, and already has been banned earlier this morning.

You got me!!!

At first I thought nothing of it. On some of the bigger boats, mostly blue water. It is very common the have the pump/motor in the engine compatment a few feet away from the fridge in the galley. Hance the link.
