Lucky you are not in Oz. Here they cost twice as much.
I got mine from http://www.swimplatformsuperstore.com

They made it for my 2006 FW H180 fo under $1000.
Shipped thru a Aussie freight company to Sydney for $300. All up less than $1500.

Contact them and talk to KellyAnn. They are good and cheap compared to all the others I got quotes from.

What boat do you have?

I got a quote from swimplatforms.com and it was right in line with the $1,500. That's just a little more than I can justify right now.

I have a '94 H 190

For what it is worth, the admiral thought I was nuts spending the money on it, but now she loves it. With the speakers back there, even if you just want to dangle feet in the water it makes it so easy and comfortable.

I like the way it's colour coded to match the red on the hull; the standard one on my (red + white) 2004 Sundowner is all white and looks very much like an afterthought.

Thanks, I think it was worth the extra $300. BTW, coming across the pond next week to Dublin for a real Football game, not the soccer. Notre Dame vs Navy. My come to UK in the spring as we have never been. Doubt I will bring boat though ( LOL )

Ouch, thats north of $7.50 a gallon and I was moaning that our marina just jumped to $4.63 a gallon.

If we do end up in the UK, I will contact you about what to see that's off the beaten path.

Question for everyone since were on this subject. I've been looking for a swimplatform for my 2000 H180 I/O. But everyone I've seen sits lower then where my transom raises to. Is there a stop system so you don't hit the platform? Or has this been a problem for anyone else?

Platforms designed specifically for your boat, will not have a clearance issue when fully raised. The "stop system" is built in to your outdrive, and the platforms are designed based on this and your particular boat.

It has never been a problem for anyone with the correct swimplatform designed for their boat. Ever.
