I'm trying to convert a boat house cradle lift system that is currently set up for a pontoon boat to lift my H200. The weight capacity of the lift is 5300# which should be more than sufficient. I would like to re-use the main horizontal steel box beams if possible and just put new bunks across it (removing the 4 padded box beams that are currently there for a pontoon boat) Most of the pictures I've seen show that you need to use 2x8 boards combined with steel bracket pieces. Can anyone recommend the best way to do this? Should I buy a whole new cradle and throw everything away?
